Welcome to the 2010 DOTY Awards Program! For years, the Doll of the Year® (DOTY®) Awards Program, sponsored by Doll Reader, has remained one of the most prominent and exciting events organized to celebrate dolls with exceptional design and manufacture. Every year, manufacturers, artists, and collectors anticipate the results of the Industry’s Choice® competition and prepare to select their favorite dolls. Past years have welcomed winning artists like Philip Heath, Hildegard Günzel, Laura Tuzio-Ross, Maja Bill, and Heidi Plusczok, among many others, and companies like the Tonner Doll Co., Superfrock Ltd., The Danbury Mint, and Ashton-Drake Galleries have also taken home the coveted award. It is a time when doll experts and collectors alike come together to vote in recognition of superior achievement in doll creation. Call for Entries: 2010 DOTY Awards Registration Forms Electronic entry forms, fees, and photos must be received by Friday, Jan. 8, 2010. Non-electronic entry forms, fees, and photos must arrive no later than Friday, Jan. 15, 2010.
